ASOS Christmas Gift Guide

Hello All,

Christmas is soon approaching just 15 days away (excuse my calculations if they happen to be incorrect). While I write this I'm meant to be doing some uni work and happened to think I can do this while also browsing through the ASOS. How wrong I was, I did however come across there 'gifts' section and did think it was worth sharing, they also have discounts on many of the items so you won't end up breaking the bank!
(Unless like me, you you just add loads to the shopping basket, then -_-… Thank God pay days soon :)

So below are a few things I think are worth checking out…

Let me know what your gift ideas are??

Essie Nail Polishes

Essie Nails

Hello again...

Now I relise as I scroll through my blog post history that I think I may have more "Random" post then I do actual "Buy" post. So here yet another what I brought post for you which my boyfriend and bothers pointed out to be a "complete waste of money" I mean who whats 3 Essie nail polishes for nearly £25 when you can buy a PS3 game?? Duh!

So the three colours I ended up buying were Absolutely Shore, Borrowed & Blue and Fuji. (Pictured below)
Mind the bad nail painting!
So the top picture is Absolutely Shore I'd describe it as a pale pastel green (with grey undertones). I love it on the toes with a tan, but thought a toe swatch would be TOO weird so decided against it.
It applies really nicely through!

The next is Borrowed and Blue which is a beautiful pale blue. I wore a completely black outfit to work the other day and it looked pretty and feminine which I really like (well not completely i was wearing a white T (which i'm also thinking to do a post on aswell))

Finally is Fuji which was raved about from the likes of bloggers such as viviannadoesmakeup which you must go check out her blog if you don't read it already. And even though I did have to go out of my way to find it (I got mine from ebay) was definitely worth it, its just such a pretty colour and looks amazing on the nails.

On a side note: The first two polishes I picked up off look fantastic which was most convenient for me because I was making a shampoo purchase. For a similar result to the one I received from the Essie nail polishes I used O.P.I Nail Envy (for sensitive nails: which i DON'T recommend. I personally prefer the Original Nail Envy.) I also applied 2 coats of the polishes.

Anyway hope you all had an amazing day. And have a good day tomorrow

Goodnight X

Random Blog

Random Blog...

So I haven't posted in a while but today since I got the day off uni (as I'm sick) and I'm the biggest procrastinator when it comes to uni assignments I figured I'd do a random blog.

For those of you who don't know I'm studying a Media, Marketing and PR course at my first year of uni, and although I'm loving uni. I have to say my PR module is killing me! I have the nicest teacher however he tends to go off topic ALOT and finds it more useful to bore us with his personal life information which as entertaining as it is, i've been doing my course for around 8 months now and am not really sure what exactly I'm studying about (in that particular module). Do any of you feel that way about your studies?

So, so far i've done nothing much its around 14:41pm UK time and i've been up for a couple of hours. I made a few eBay purchases, which I will share with you once they arrive! I've also brought a couple of nail polishes and shampoo (which was a repurchase) which I will also share tomorrow (assuming my delivery arrives today) from either Feel Unique, or Look Fantastic (not too sure I always get them confused). Either way i was beyond disappointed to find that they have removed their 10% student discount option which they used to have through UNIDAYS if you haven't already joined then you defiantly should especially as it's free!

I'm thinking to sell a couple of things on eBay too however just can't seem to work out how to do it, so until I do I've got a pile of clothes and beauty products sitting in a box on my floor. If any of you know how I do set it up please let me know!

I think thats all for now,

Hopefully I'll be back with a post for you all tomorrow!

Have a good day X

Merry Late Christmas + Hair Removal?

Merry late Christmas + Hair Removal?

Now I'd like to wish you all a late Merry Christmas and hope you got everything you wanted. As well as apologise for my absents.

So the point of this post you wonder? Well it's hair removal; now I'm not overly hairy however I do have access hair and I'm not talking the type you can't see therefore this year I wanted to try a home hair removal system to see how it works.

Now before I brought the Me powered by Elos technology home hair removal system, I spent days looking at professional as well as store reviews, however was disappointed to find no blog post on it. So after about 40hours of research I decided on this one, now although it did cost over £300 I used my Boots card so ended up making about £80 back in Boots points. It looks like the below insert

Now I have to say when buying a home hair removal system don't expect instant results, I've done 3 treatments (one per week as advised, with claimed "permanent hair removal by week 7") Now I dont see complete hair removal happening by week 7 as much as I wish that was true, however I have noticed a difference in the speed of hair growth, as well as noticing some empty patches.

How I use it you ask? Well personally I shave first, however I would probably advice you wax or epilate just so that the time between hair growth last longer. Then you set up your system a card comes with so that you can estimate which strength of pulse to use, it pretty self explanatory. However if you want any more information just let me know? I will also be doing an update at week 7 to let you know how accurate their claims are?

Well hope you have a good day Boxing day, atleast whats left of it. Did you line up for hours to grab yourself a sale item??

Speak to you soon

Nothing Exciting

Nothing Exciting

Now I know I've been gone a while, which considering I've only posted 5 times isn't a good sign. However i've just been underwhelmed and not wanting to spend money recently, not to mention that I've been swarmed with uni work; which isnt fun :(...

So what I have brought recently incase your wondering (which isnt fun, so dont hold your breath) ... I've brought a book related to one part of my course, which is the David Jobber Principles & Practice of Marketing 6th Edition which cost me £50 :O I know, ALOT right? I was left speechless in Waterstones but alas, its something I require.

So if any of you are doing a Marketing course, or anything course for that fact which required you to purchase a over priced book, let me know how it's going?

Also, Im going to Oxford street on Sunday, and am thinking to buy the Michael Kors MK5505 I think, so let me know your opinions on that? Or any other Michael Kors which is gold and slightly "man looking"...

Speak to you all soon, and hope you had a good week.

I'm back with a post for you!

I'm Back!

Well I got back on Monday morning, but same difference right?
Ok so while I was away I took a couple of pictures which I thought were fairly cool. And then I also brought a few things from duty-free which if you scroll down, I'll tell you all about with a small review.

These were pictures stuck to the floor outside Cologne Station

This is a picture i took on the train to one of my meetings, there was locks stuck on the safety bar for around 1 mile. All different colours which i thought was pretty cool and alot of locks

Next were these two men who I passed every morning, walking through the Dom

This is a picture of the Dom which has something like 1,200+ stairs (Not fun to walk up, Trust me!)

Next is my little lizard friend, who sat behind me in a Shisha place called the Relax Lounge, great service,  good variety of shisha, and nice vibe.

Next for the Reviews, I brought a couple of stuff from Duty-free...

First was the Germany Collection from OPI which seemed only right, since I was going to Germany and the colours seemed very me. However I have to say, I'm not too impressed :(... I'm not sure if it's because I brought the Minis, but I just found the consistency was streaky, but maybe thats just becuse of the brush. So now I'm back I'll try it with a different brush and maybe a different under coat, and let you know.
Below is a picture, and if you got any ideas on how it would apply better let me know?
(Left to Right) Nein! Nein! Nein! Ok Fine!, Unfor-Greta-Bly Blue, Suzi & The 7 Dusseldorfs, My Very First Knockwurst
Once I figure out how to make it apply better on the nail, I'll provide you a "on the nail" picture.

Next Is a Magazine. Now although I dont like InStyle as a magazine, I do love when they have the free Benefit tint, and highlight samples. Which is exactly what they were going this month so, I picked up the Sun Beam one only because they didnt have the others in stock. Meaning if your in the UK its something I'd look out for

Another 2 things I brought were a YSL lip colour and nail vanish.
The lip colour I brought was in number 6, its a peachy orange shade, kind of like a stain rather then a lip stick (sorry don't know the official term for it.) The packaging is Lovely, I think the whole black and gold with red logo looks very chic, however the applicator is a a kinda material doe-foot applicator, which I like doe-foot applicators, I just usually prefer when there fully plastic, as in theory to me that makes them alittle more hygienic :|
Lip stain No. 6. Now this colour isn't for everyone so I advice you try it out first
Now the nail vanish is No.1 Rouge Pop Art, and I only brought this because it looked amazing on the sales assistant. However unfortunately I think I'm too pale for it at the moment. So I'm going to try wearing it after I fake tan, and see how I feel about it then, wise ebay it is... Do you know any nice reds that look nice on pale skin??
YSL No.1 Rouge Pop Art, this is two coats incase you were wondering
I've 1 more thing, but thats also a pretty long post and I've got a uni assignment to do for tomorrow :s... So hope you've all had a good day, and I'll blog some other time

Anyway after posting the ASOS belt I wanted, I find out my brother did pick up the hint and actually get it for me :D. So just for you I have an OTD (what I wore to Germany, keep in mind I had to go to a meeting as soon as I arrived, I'm usually a travel in sweats kinda girl.)
